Reader Question – Unidentified Photos

MC900439407 A reader asked the following question in a comment today:  Are there any sites that are strictly for unidentified photos?

I’m not really sure if there are any that solely post unidentified photos.  Most websites/blogs I’ve come across have a combination of both identified and unidentified, such as the following:

Tattered and Lost Vernacular Photography (http://tatteredandlostphotographs.blogspot.com/) collects old photos and posts them. The only identified ones are the ones with names (rarely full names) on them. Her collection includes people and not all are really old photos. Some are as recent as the 1950s.

Hi Julie,
I also have a blog that's sole purpose is to reunite old family photos and other ephemera with genealogists/family members.

I've probably reunited over 300 photos over the past 20 years. It's truly a rewarding hobby!

I should add that *most* of the photos I post on my blog are identified, but I do also post some unidentified pictures...usually, though, they have a photographer's imprint and the location of the studio.
