Orphan Photos #122 through #125

Orphan 0122

This first photograph is Joseph and Louise Waldvogel.  It was taken in Antigo, Langlade, Wisconsin, presumably when the couple married, about 1898.

The photographer is Frank H. Prosser, who by age 17 was already in the profession in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.2 He is found living in Antigo in 1895,3 and in Hutchins, Shawano County, by 1900.4

The couple is found in the 1900 to 1930 censuses, living in Norwood Township, Langlade, Wisconsin,5 near Antigo where the photograph was taken.  Through the censuses and various records and indexes, I have constructed the family, which can be viewed here:  http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/47125407/family/familygroup.  Note:  Living persons are kept private.

I am pretty sure I have found a direct descendant and will be contacting that person in hopes of reuniting the family with this photo.  I have also included in this post three additional photos that came in the same batch as the one above.  There is no identification on them, but the locations are all nearby and I have placed descendants in two of the three locations.  I’m hoping that the person I contact might recognize these people and identify them as family members.

Orphan 0123
No identification; photographer is Frank H. Prosser in Mattoon.
Orphan 0124

Orphan 0125
No identification; photograph taken at Clark’s Studio in Shawano.
